School Admissions - Secondary
Use this form to apply for a school place for your child if your child is due to start a Secondary school (Year 7 class) in September 2024. Only complete this application if you have parental responsibility for this child and live within the South Tyneside area.
In using this system you agree you have read and understood the relevant 'Information for Parents' booklet.
Where two adults have shared responsibility for a child, they should agree before submitting the application which schools to name as their preferred schools and the order of preferences. If parents fail to agree on preferred schools and two applications are received for the same child from the same parents, then the local authority may decide to put a hold on both applications reducing the chances of that child gaining a place at a school.
This form must be submitted by 4.30pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Failure to meet this deadline could seriously jeopardise the chances of you securing a place at your preferred school.
