School Admissions - Infant, Junior, and Primary
Use this form to apply for a school place for your child if your child is due to start a reception class, or move from an Infant to a Junior or Primary school (Year 3 class), for September 2024. Only complete this application if you have parental responsibility for this child and live within the South Tyneside area.
Where two adults have shared responsibility for a child, they should agree before submitting the application which schools to name as their preferred schools and the order of preferences. If parents fail to agree on preferred schools and two applications are received for the same child from the same parents, then the local authority may decide to put a hold on both applications reducing the chances of that child gaining a place at a school.
