Private hire driver's licence
If you would like to apply for a Private Hire Driver's Licence you must have held a full DVLA licence to drive a motor car for at least 12 months, be of good character and medically fit. You will therefore need:
a) To have a criminal record check (We will send the Forms with your application pack). You need to pay a separate fee for this check.
b) To provide a Medical Certificate filled in by your GP. (We will send a blank Certificate with your application pack).
c) To sit and pass a Knowledge/Locality Test. We will send you the details in your application pack.
