Animal Boarding Licence
The keeping and running of animal boarding establishments (Catteries and Kennels) is controlled by the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963.
If you would like to apply for an Animal Boarding Licence you must download, fill in and sign the application form and send it, with a registration fee of £74 to:

Make your cheques and postal orders payable to Borough of South Tyneside. Please note that you will also have to pay for an inspection by an authorised Veterinary Surgeon or Practitioner. The cost of the inspection varies depending on the premises.
